As a non-profit organisation focused on improving the health of underprivileged children, we believe that strengthening local ecosystems of food production and reducing the impact of hunger and malnutrition is crucial to building a stronger India. By providing nutritious meals to children in need, we not only address immediate health concerns but also support local farmers and promote sustainable agriculture practices. We are committed to working towards healthier and resilient communities.

V. Ramani

V. Ramani, a committed public policy practitioner and former civil servant, spearheaded the formation of the first-ever State Nutrition Mission in Maharashtra in 2005 to reduce child malnutrition. The initiatives of the Mission saw a significant reduction in under-2 child undernutrition between 2006 and 2012. Ramani has served in various capacities in the Governments of India and Maharashtra in the course of his career. Apart from his continuing involvement with efforts to reduce child malnutrition in India, he also contributes articles on issues of public policy and human interest to print and electronic media, apart from publishing his own blogs.

Anand More

Anand More has over 20 years of experience in CSR and Social Development. He is currently working at Citi Group as Vice President CSR. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and is a certified Project Management Professional.
His expertise includes working at scale, providing strategic directions to social initiatives, managing governance and grants, and establishing collaborative partnerships with NGOs, he also looked after monitoring & evaluation of the projects managed by the group. In the past, he has worked as AVP volunteering with the Project Management Institute’s Mumbai Chapter and trained mid and senior management of NGOs to become efficient Project Managers.

Rajan Sankar

Rajan Sankar is an esteemed physician and retired Colonel with expertise in Internal Medicine. As Regional Representative for South Asia at GAIN, he established their presence in India and Bangladesh. Formerly the Director of Nutrition at Tata Trusts, he played a key role in setting up The India Nutrition Initiative (TINI), demonstrating his remarkable impact and experience in the field.

Dr. Sachin Gupte

Dr Sachin Gupte, a distinguished leader in public health and nutrition, holds a Postgraduate degree in Public Health from the University of Edinburgh. With 25+ years of experience, he leads PATH’s State Operations across multiple geographies in the country. Dr Gupte provides programmatic oversight and thought leadership to state teams spread across various thematic areas of Infectious Diseases, Neglected Tropical Diseases, Maternal New-born and Child Health, Nutrition, Innovations, Digital Health and beyond. His expertise lies in health system strengthening, stakeholder engagement and managing government relations. He is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and works closely with Country Director, India and Director South Asia for PATH and is based out of PATH's New Delhi Head Office.
